I wasn’t content with just candy cane stripes, so I did a Google search for images of candy canes for inspiration. A rather common design is of a candy cane with a ribbon wrapped around it, like this:
I adapted this idea for today’s design:
The gold base is from TheFaceShop. On top of that, I first used my dotting tool to paint the shapes of the candy canes in white and then add the red stripes. Next, I used it to paint the green ribbon. Voila!
Super easy and didn’t require a brush at all! Used China Glaze Party Hearty as a glitter top coat over a plain gold base to complement the candy cane design. Very festive!
