The real 3D deal

Teacher Joe often emphasises that too many people misuse the term “3D nail art”, using it to refer to embossed nail art instead. I’m guilty of this as well because well, if you can’t beat ’em, you join ’em right?

Anyway, in the last lesson, we did 3D nail art. Here’s my first attempt at a bouquet of roses:


We had to flatten a ball of acrylic into a round shape and then shape it into a rose. Then, after making a couple of roses, we glued them together. The ribbons were made by shaping acrylic balls into flattened strips and winding them around an orange stick. They were glued onto the roses. A closer look:

Done quite long ago heh. This was the ribbon design taught in NA2 class!
